Business Consultancy Services Programme
The Business Consultancy Services Voucher Programme (BCSVP) is an NYDA programme that is designed to provide quality business development support to young entrepreneurs. This is done with aim of enhancing the young entrepreneur's participation in the mainstream economy.
Young entrepreneurs are able to receive one-on-one business development support, between the values of R6000 to R18000, from a NYDA accredited service provider. These service providers are professional companies that have the relevant skills and experience that can assist the young entrepreneurs in developing their businesses in areas such as marketing, bookkeeping and financial administration, due diligence etc.

here. These service are issued in the form of vouchers. Each young person is entitled to 4 vouchers.
Qualifying Criteria:
Before you apply for the BCSVP, make sure you are:
- between the ages of 18 and 35 years
- a permanent South African resident
- sole owner (100% ownership) or be in a partnership with members you are youth (18 – 35) of the new or existing business
- adequately involved in the day to day operations and management of the business
- your business is operating within the borders of South Africa.
How do I apply?
Step one:
Download and complete an application form and submit it to your nearest NYDA branch office. Application forms can also be obtained from any NYDA full service branch office.
Your complete application form must be accompanied with:
- Certified Copies of ID
- Business Registration documents ( If registered)
Step two:
After submitting, your application will undergo an assessment which will compare your business against the service you are applying for. If your application is approved, you must select an NYDA accredited service provider from the available list of the branch you applied to. If declined, the applicant is referred to an alternative business support service of the NYDA.
Step three:
Once the service provider has rendered their service, the applicant has the option to endorse or decline the service provided.
